McCombs sources grapes from the finest vineyards in Utah, California, Oregon and Washington; including Twin Peaks, Napa, Sonoma, Sierra Foothills, the Columbia and Rogue Valleys.
Look, I know what you're thinking: "Wait... There's a WINERY in Cedar City?!" Yes, there certainly is--and it's not to be missed. Let me tell you why.First and foremost, it is conveniently located within walking distance of the main Shakespeare Festival performance halls. Stopping by is the perfect way to wet one's whistle before attending a production, or to settle down for a posh discussion of one after.More importantly, the selection of wine here is evocative and diverse (they also serve beer for the gluten enthused). My companions and I enjoyed a flight of two whites, two reds, and a port paired with dark chocolate for a very reasonable sum. We positively gushed over the unique palate experience each provided, our favorites being a toss up between the Rousanne and Alicanté.
